Despite our best efforts, sometimes we cannot avoid an argument, and we cannot escape those conflicts when we are faced with angry feelings and angry attitudes. Fighting is a part of life, just as happiness is. Even so, after the fight you might end up with mixed feelings that can see you looking for more fights, or feeling depressed and isolated.

To counteract such feelings (that might not necessarily be angry feelings, but as a result of your anger), you can turn to prayer, meditation and even colour therapy, or aromatherapy. Colour therapy and aromatherapy are easy enough to be conducted yourself, without the need to attend a specialised practitioner.

Colour. Make sure that they are earthly colours: beige, all the shades of brown, green and blue will work wonderfully. If you cannot change your surrounding colours, then change your environment and take a walk through a park or by the ocean.

Aromatherapy. Turn to aromas like cinnamon and clover; if you can, use an oil burner with a “Christmassy” blend, or make your own with citric/fruity, cinnamon, clover and wood scents.

You can also help yourself with your intake: eat a lot of salads, apples and teas. If you are willing, drink a cup of cinnamon tea and see how it can help you feel more at ease and let go of your negativity.
